Civil War Journal 1861, July 16 The battle of lolly Run ended today. nitrogenerners, like myself, know it as informer Run but the Confederates know it as Manassas. This battle is beautiful me bad thoughts about the outcome of this war. This was a Southern victory and the Confederate army looks uplifted in spirit and mellow in confidence, compared to the hurt, tired, and disappointed due north. The great leadership of the Confederate generals progress this battle. Their plans and attacks were no match for the Union ones. I hope the North can do something to rebound from this great loss, maybe in that location will be a second battle.
1862, declination 31 Today I attended a group at the Tremont Temple. It was in Boston so I had to cash in ones chips a ways. At the Tremont Temple many black, including myself celebrated the consequence of the liberty proclamation that is effective at midnight tonight.
